Sanjiv Razdan
President, Chief Executive Officer and Director
Sanjiv Razdan joined The Joint in 2024 with over 35 years in franchising and hospitality. Razdan has extensive experience growing and leading successful multi-unit companies and franchise businesses. Most recently, he was President of Americas and India for The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, a global specialty coffee and tea house company operating in 30 countries across 1,200 cafes. Formerly, Razdan held senior operations leadership roles with respected brands and franchisors Yum! Brands (Pizza Hut and KFC), Dine Brands (Applebee’s) and Sweetgreen.
In each of his prior posts, Razdan demonstrated his ability to combine strategic acumen, branding expertise and a keen ability to effectively understand and support the needs of franchisees, with his passion for energizing teams and building strong cultures. As President at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Razdan restructured the company for growth, leading all cafe operations, CPG and e-commerce. He delivered the company’s strongest EBITDA results in over a decade by developing strong franchise relationships, repairing unit level margins and transforming the company’s culture. As COO at Sweetgreen, Razdan helped lead rapid growth, while fine-tuning at the unit level to ensure efficiency and profitability. His primary responsibilities centered on store operations and innovation, automation, and food safety, with oversight of IT, People and Facilities. At Applebee’s, as SVP and COO, he led the turnaround of the portfolio which was 1800+ restaurants across 35 franchisees in 50 states. And, with YUM! Brands, he held several business and functional leader roles across three continents.
Razdan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Computer Science from St. Xavier’s College in Mumbai, India. He also completed a post-graduate program in Hotel Administration with ITC Hotels and holds a certificate from Cornell University in QSR Management.

Scott J. Bowman
Chief Financial Officer
Scott J. Bowman is a seasoned executive and three-time public company CFO with more than 30 years of experience across retail, restaurant, consumer goods, and manufacturing industries. He served as CFO at Leslie’s Inc., a $1.5 billion publicly held pool supply retailer from 2023 to 2025; at True Food Kitchen, a $270 million privately held restaurant company rooted in nutritional science, from 2021 to 2023; at Dave & Buster’s, a $1.4 billion publicly held dining and entertainment company, from 2019 to 2021; and at Hibbett Sports, a $1 billion publicly held athletic specialty retailer that was subsequently acquired by JD Sports, from 2012 to 2019. Prior to that for over two decades, he worked in a series of roles with increasing responsibilities in the finance and accounting departments at The Home Depot, divisions of Newell Rubbermaid, and The Sherwin-Williams Company.
Bowman earned a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Miami University (Ohio) and an MBA from Emory Goizueta Business School. He also holds a CPA designation.

Charles Nelles
Chief Technology Officer
Charles Nelles joined The Joint in 2022. Prior to that, he held the role of vice president of technology at American Express Global Business Travel, where he was responsible for oversight of its global technology infrastructure and service delivery processes supporting corporate travel, expense management, meetings & events and global business consulting. Nelles also held various executive and technology roles at Western Union, in addition to serving in various leadership capacities at several healthcare organizations, such as The Children's Hospital of Denver and PacifiCare Health Systems.
Nelles earned a BA in business administration from the University of Phoenix in 2003. He is also a certified project management professional (PMP) per the Project Management Institute.

Debbie L. Gonzalez
Chief Marketing Officer
Debbie L. Gonzalez joined The Joint in 2025. Most recently, she was CMO/SVP, Global Marketing and Communications at Concentrix, a Fortune 500 company, where she led a global team across corporate and employer brand, performance marketing, digital, PR/comms, and creative. Previously, she was Chief Brand/Marketing Officer at Massage Envy Franchising, where she repositioned the business to a Total Body Care wellness platform, centralized performance marketing and digital, lifted brand awareness, and improved reputation ratings. Gonzalez also operated her own consultancy for multi-site consumer services, restaurant, and franchise brands. Early in her career, she held product leadership roles at PetSmart, Herman Millerand Gerber.
Gonzalez holds an MBA from Thunderbird and a BBA/Economics from the University of San Diego. She has been featured in CMO.com, CMO Outlook, and AdAge, and volunteers in community leadership roles in Arizona. She currently serves on the board of El Pollo Loco, sitting on the Compensation and Nominating & Governance Committees.

Beth Gross
Senior Vice President of Human Resources
Beth Gross joined The Joint in September 2024 with over two decades in human resources. Most recently, Gross held the role of Vice President of Human Resources at Spear Education, a private equity-owned dental education organization based in Scottsdale, Ariz. She owned all aspects of organizational development and evolution, including talent acquisition strategy and execution, and established and led the employer branding strategy. Under her guidance, Spear Education was a five-time "Top Companies to Work For in AZ" selection.
Gross earned a BA in corporate communications from Arizona State University.

Craig Sherwood
Senior Vice President of Development
Craig Sherwood joined The Joint in 2025 with more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in global franchise development in both the fitness and QSR industries. Prior to The Joint, he served as Chief Development Officer for Lumin Fitness, an AI powered fitness company. With oversight for all aspects of Lumin's global franchise development, real estate, design, and construction, Sherwood created and launched the strategic direction for this fast-emerging brand. Sherwood also served as the Chief Development Officer for Gold's Gym, where he managed the brand's franchising community and licensing programs while spearheading international expansion. Sherwood has held leadership roles in several global franchise brands, including Wingstop, Little Caesars, and Yum Brands.
Sherwood earned his BA in Government at St. Lawrence University and his JD at William Mitchell College of Law. His affiliations include membership at the International Franchise Association and the International Council of Shopping Centers.

Andra Terrell
Senior Vice President Legal
Andra Terrell joined The Joint in 2025. Prior to that, she held the role of Senior Assistant General Counsel at Franchise World Headquarters (Subway). Terrel is an innovative legal strategist experienced in franchising, including launching new concepts, acquisitions, turnarounds, and strategic business planning. She also held a variety of senior leadership and general counsel positions at Regis Corporation, as well as Church’s Texas Chicken, Luxottica Group and GNC. Terrel has proven capabilities in facilitating high-value acquisitions or divestitures, complex corporate financing, Board management, public and private company compliance, intellectual property portfolio management, global contract management (food, beverage, commercial and tech), and strategic business planning.
Terrell earned a JD from Howard University School of Law. She also holds her BS in Natural Sciences and History of Science from The Johns Hopkins University.

Eric Wyatt
Senior Vice President Operations & Patient Experience
Eric Wyatt joined The Joint in 2025. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Clean Eatz, overseeing a franchise organization with over 100 locations in 23 states and multiple revenue streams, including prepared meal plans, grab-and-go, and CPG products. Wyatt also held executive leadership roles at Norms Restaurant, as well as in senior operational positions at CKE Restaurants for the Hardee’s brand, in addition to serving in various executive leadership capacities at several organizations such as Boston Market, Panera Bread, L Brands, and Starbucks. He began his career in franchise and company operations at Taco Bell and Mobil Oil.
Wyatt holds a BA in Speech Communications from East Stroudsburg University and serves on the Board of Directors for the East Stroudsburg University Foundation.

Steve Knauf, DC
Vice President of Chiropractic and Compliance
Dr. Steve Knauf began working at The Joint in 2011. After spending four years as a chiropractor with The Joint, he took the role of senior doctor of chiropractic for 13 clinics. He has received several promotions and is now vice president of chiropractic and compliance. In this role, he ensures regulatory and standards compliance for the franchise network while contributing to the growth of the system through strong relationships with chiropractic schools, associations and boards.
Dr. Knauf earned a BS and Doctor of Chiropractic from Northwestern Health Sciences University. In August 2017, he was appointed by the governor to serve on the Arizona Board of Chiropractic Examiners, a position which he continues to hold.
