Note 11: Income TaxesDuring the three and six months ended June 30, 2018, the Company recorded income tax expense of approximately $6,000 and income tax benefit of approximately $57,000, respectively. The Company’s effective tax rate differs from the federal statutory tax rate due to permanent differences, state taxes and changes in the valuation allowance.During the
three and six months ended June 30, 2017, the Company recorded income tax expense of approximately $3,000 and $43,000, respectively, with the difference between the Company’s effective tax rate and the federal statutory tax rate due to state tax expense and a valuation allowance on the Company's deferred tax assets and the impact of certain permanent differences on taxable income. |
